Congratulations, December graduates!
Our School of Information hosted its fall 2006 Commencement this afternoon. Congratulations, graduates, who include several of my master's students: Dawn B., Jeehyun D., Sandy L., Angela M., and Derek N. Some students are immediately stepping into library positions. Others are in the midst of their job search.
We also congratulate two new PhD grads. Suellen Adams's dissertation was on gaming: "Information Behavior and Meaning-Making in Virtual Play Spaces; A Case Study of City of Heroes." Jason Turner examined "The Communication of Influence Through Technology-Enabled Media."
We look forward to celebrating their future achievements!
